Given that Russell is this stable, he might finish third in the WDC. Also, Mercedes is just 30 points behind Ferrari… With Ferrari blundering in all of the races until the end of the season, I can see Mercedes beating Ferrari.

Leclerc vs Perez, and Latifi vs Hulkenberg, to keep an eye in those matches.

Verstappen could take a vacation and return in Mexico, still leading the WDC.

With all the Ferrari mistakes (some wins would be taken by Merc, some by Perez and maybe a lucky win by someone else also), maybe he could even win without participating in any further races this year

If Verstappen wins in Monza and Singapore, either Pérez or Leclerc must finish second in both races, otherwise VER will be crowned a World Champion in Singapore already. Puts things quiet in perspective.

@keithcollantine Please could you make it easier to find out the standings at a time when this article isn’t on the first page? I tried to look them up during the race today and ended up going to the BBC website after clicking every link here I could find.

If Verstappen wins the remaining 7 races, gets FL, and wins Brazil Sprint, he will finish with 500 pts.
500. Pts.
Come on Max!

I guess this means that Alonso has to wait another year for his third WDC.

I still think Hulk has a chance of beating Latifi.
